Job description

Scope of the position:

  • Provide Quality Assurance expertise to the Quality department and customers to ensure the Quality System is of the highest standard.

  • Safeguard the quality of all products produced through NCR/ CAPA and complaint investigations to ensure all customer & regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a quality system compliant to the IATF 16949: 2016 standard and all applicable regulations under associated Directives.

  • Co-ordinate/ perform investigations on production related issues in conjunction with QC Technicians to ensure all customer & regulatory requirements are met.

  • Lead all activities associated with open non-conformances (NCRs) & CAPAs until completion

  • Ensure customer specific requirements are being met

  • Establish and sustain customer relationships as Quality main point of contact for the company

  • Participation in Internal and External Audits

  • Provide training for quality and production team on product requirements

  • Support APQP activities for new launch product (PPAP, safe launch, ect)

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 4 yrs. experience in product quality position, with direct experience in quality system compliance.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of APQP, Core Tools, and creation of PPAP’s.

  • Knowledge of quality inspection tools and methods required.

  • Knowledge of blow molding, injection molding, and assembly processes desirable.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Exceptional analytical and computational skills. Knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques preferable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated high level of creativity and innovation.

  • Demonstrated decision-making capability.
