Position Description:
Client is looking for a motivated and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst for our team who will be responsible for planning, implementation and monitoring of the quality assurance test plan and test cases. Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst duties and responsibilities will include, - Reviewing and Analyzing requirement of products - Developing and implementing test plans to test the functionalites of the product - Creating test cases for all scenarios and execute the test cases - Reviewing and tracking bugs - Conducting and trcking UAT - Working closely with the product team on the design and development of new features - Creating and maintaining documentation and tutorials
Skills Required:
Clear communicator (written and verbal) for talking with stakeholders about requests and informing teams of any issues regarding submissions or development tasks Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables. Demonstrates the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly. Excellent understanding and knowledge of software quality assurance practice and testing methodologies and tools. Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment, while being adaptable to change. Ability to work and participate in a team with an open and collaborative style of communications. An analytical thinker, with sharp attention to detail, that has problem-solving and trouble shooting skills. A strong passion for product quality and continuous willingness to improve the process.
The Consultant preferred to have all the following qualifications: Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years working as a software quality assurance analyst conducting software quality assurance activities for software development projects, including creation of test plans and test cases, and testing the developed software against business and functional requirements. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years working closely with Software Developers and Business Analysts on Information Technology project(s) consisting of a project team of over 10 staff and 100+ users. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years using software tools used for software quality assurance documentation and reporting (i.e. Microsoft Team Foundation Server.) Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years coordinating with business stakeholders and software end-users to guide them through user acceptance testing for Information Technology project(s).
An Associate degree, Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Development, Business Administration/Management or related field.
