Job description

Job Title: SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Java, Python, C++)

Location: West Sacramento, CA 95605

Duration: 24 Months

 

Need only for State / other Gov Agencies in CA-Min 3 years.

Must have a minimum of three years of experience providing software engineering services to a California State department, federal, state, local or public agency.

Two or more consecutive years of experience in the last 10 years providing software engineering consultative services to a State of California department using Agile methodology.

The SE 1 must have a minimum of five consecutive years of experience providing software engineering services.

This experience must include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems using various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
  • Working closely with project teams, designers, business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure technical specifications are met.
  • Conducting tests and debugging software applications to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Developing project documentation, system specifications and user manuals.
  • Reporting to project timelines and ensuring project deliverables are met.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

A bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
