Job description

The Patient Scheduling Call Center Agent is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, scheduling patient physician appointments in the registration system, insurance verification, routing calls and communicating to the appropriate department or physician offices.

Part time shifts available (no weekend requirement):

  • Early Shift: Monday & Tuesday 8am-430pm CST + 1 half day 8am-12pm CST
  • Standard Shift: Monday & Tuesday 830am-5pm CST + 1 half day 1:30pm-530pm CST
  • Mid Shift: Monday & Tuesday 1030am-730pm CST + 1 half day 3pm-7pm CST

Training schedule is full-time for the first 3 weeks. Qualified candidates must be able to train Monday - Friday 8am-430pm CST for the first 3 weeks. 

You will responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Scheduling all patient appointments for the physician practices including cancellations and changes
  • Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics
  • Selecting accurate insurance carrier plans and informs the patient of any carrier that is out of network
  • Providing Good Faith Estimates upon patient request 

Qualifications Needed:

  •  One year of call center customer service experience highly preferred
  • This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position; within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).
  • This position will require you to be on the phone 95% of your day. Must be able to handle high inbound call volumes and meet daily metrics
