Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Project Manager to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Job Description:
Everforth ECS seeks a Senior Project Manager to support the development and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Solutions for a DoD Customer. The Sr. Project Manager will manage their project and will report directly to the Program Director who administers the portfolio. The ideal candidate has experience successfully completing projects using an Agile Management framework in a complex environment.
The work is performed in a multidisciplinary team setting, supporting several lines of effort delivering revolutionary capabilities to the US Intelligence Community and Operational Forces in CONUS and overseas. The candidate is highly motivated and enthusiastic about implementing new technologies where deadlines are important to national security.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of technical and subject matter experts in the execution of a variety of requirements supporting several projects delivering actual capabilities to the tactical edge.
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and USG customer to oversee the deployment and sustainment of infrastructure (both cloud and on-premise) in support of and at the direction of the USG customer. These deployments may take place in any classification level and across various cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Ensure compliance with required processes and procedures as dictated by appropriate AO, IA, and Security teams for infrastructure deployment. Ensure that vendors and subcontractors working on assigned deployments are maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage Cost, Schedule, Performance (Deliverables), Scope and Risk for assigned project in the portfolio to deliver customer requirements.
  • Work directly with the Government team daily to define requirements, adjust to changing priorities, and adapt to strategic challenges that influence focus of effort.
  • Interface with support functions including contracts, procurement, logistics and HR to execute program and project activities. Responsible for preparing Statements of Work (SOW), conduct project Kickoff meetings, lead Weekly Status meetings and ensure the successful delivery of contract line items (CLINS). Participate in proposal planning, including research of new and novel solutions to emerging customer challenges and requests.
  • Collaborate with project team members and coordinate with functional leads to acquire matrixed support to provide necessary skills to complete project tasks and work packages. Demonstrate the skills and values of a collaborative leader.
  • Prepare and deliver status reports. Provide weekly project updates to the Government Program Manager and Everforth ECS management team.

  • Must have a Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance with SCI.
  • Must have a Bachelors Degree in a related field.
  • 12+ years project management experience. PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Experience/proficiency with Information Management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Gitlab etc.
  • Ability to travel occasionally in support of project activities CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Demonstrated superior problem solving, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with SDLC, Agile Management, and Project Lifecycle

  • Experience working with cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, etc.).
