Description:

Vistra is seeking a Senior Project Manager responsible for the overall management of complex, high-visibility projects and a portfolio of tasks in a busy research communications and publishing office. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and direct coordination with government officials, including Technical Representatives (CORs), Task Managers, and Researchers.


This is an on-site position that will require attendance in an office in McLean, VA, or Washington, DC.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget while managing risk and performance metrics
  • Ensure that staff are updating the submission and project tracking system to enable customers to see the status of their projects
  • Oversee the creation of presentations, videos, online tours, social media, and other communications collateral
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree or bachelor's Degree with relevant experience in Business, Marketing/Communications, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience managing marketing and communications and supervising the publication of technical information from concept to final product from one-page flyers to 300+ technical reports
  • Transportation experience, especially in highway and surface transportation, is preferred.
  • Public Trust is required; Security Clearance is preferred.
