Senior Project Manager - $160,000-$190,000 + Benefits - Austin, Texas

Renewyx have partnered with a respected general contractor to recruit a Senior Project Manager for their Austin, TX office.

This contractor has a strong presence in the Texas market, a consistent pipeline of demanding commercial projects, and a senior leadership structure that gives experienced PMs the support and authority to deliver at the highest level.

The role:

The Senior Project Manager holds full accountability for the planning, organisation, and control of all project resources. Working closely with the VP of Operations, you will set and maintain safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives, supervise a skilled operations team, and manage owner relationships from preconstruction through to project closeout. Financial accountability — job cost analysis, change order management, subcontractor pay applications, and claims resolution — sits firmly with you.

What you’ll bring:
  • 10+ years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry
  • Demonstrated ability to lead full project lifecycle delivery, from preconstruction through closeout
  • Strong financial acumen — job margin analysis, change orders, subcontractor pay applications, and claims management
  • Proactive identification and resolution of scope changes and project risks
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software; Viewpoint or comparable project management platform
  • Proven track record managing owner, architect, and subcontractor relationships at a senior level
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
