Senior Project Manager
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholder engagement, community outreach, and operational initiatives supporting large-scale healthcare transformation programs.
  • Manage advisory council operations, including strategic planning, meeting facilitation, agendas, materials, attendance, onboarding, and follow-up activities.
  • Oversee statewide and regional engagement activities, including public meetings, roadshows, workshops, and stakeholder events.
  • Develop and maintain engagement strategies, outreach plans, stakeholder communication frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, healthcare organizations, community-based organizations, municipalities, providers, and executive leadership.
  • Lead project tracking efforts, ensuring action items, decisions, milestones, risks, and partner commitments are documented and completed.
  • Direct the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, communications, reports, and executive updates.
  • Ensure public-facing materials meet accessibility, language access, and plain-language standards.
  • Oversee stakeholder databases, engagement records, outreach metrics, and reporting requirements.
  • Support regulatory, leadership, and performance reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to leadership regarding stakeholder engagement, community partnerships, and program implementation.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, public health, healthcare, human services, government programs, or community-based initiatives.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management, leadership, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience preparing executive-level reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (MPH, MPA, MHA, MBA, or related field).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting healthcare transformation, Medicaid, public health, or human services programs.
  • Familiarity with health equity initiatives, community engagement strategies, and stakeholder partnership development.
  • Experience working with government agencies, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and community groups.
  • Knowledge of public meeting facilitation, accessibility standards, and public engagement best practices.
Position Summary
This role serves as the strategic lead for stakeholder engagement and community partnership operations.
