Job description

Ring & DuChateau LLP is seeking a Senior HVAC Project Engineer to join our growing team. We are a collaborative engineering consulting firm focused on delivering thoughtful building systems solutions while supporting employee growth, leadership development, and long-term career success.


Our teams work across a variety of healthcare, commercial, educational, institutional, municipal, and industrial projects. We value practical problem solving, strong communication, technical excellence, and a collaborative approach to project delivery.


What You'll Do

  • Lead HVAC system design for a variety of building projects
  • Manage projects from planning and design through construction support
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal project teams
  • Prepare and oversee construction documents, specifications, and technical calculations
  • Support project scheduling, coordination, budgeting, and quality control
  • Mentor and coordinate Engineers, Designers, and BIM staff
  • Participate in field observations, construction administration, and client meetings
  • Assist with technical studies, code research, and system evaluations


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of HVAC engineering experience preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Experience leading healthcare, institutional, commercial, or industrial projects preferred
  • Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills
