Type: Full Time

The Senior Programmer will be responsible for building and supporting software and integrating applications. This individual must have significant exposure to and demonstrated proficiency in the areas of analysis, design, testing, debugging, and implementation of business applications.

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, develop, test, and implement new application functionality per customer or internal specifications

Transform functional requirements into business solutions

Participate in code reviews and make recommendations on best practices

Develop and maintain software code

Create test cases and perform unit, system, and integration testing

Deliver the required functionality in an agreed upon timely manner

Identify, troubleshoot and debug defects in designated application code

Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution

Provide level 2 and level 3 support for tickets requiring technical resolution

Identify potential areas where existing business processes require change, or where new processes need to be developed, and makes recommendations in these areas

 Experience in using Amazon Web Services (Lambda Functions and RDS) is desirable

 Web Programming Experience with ASP.Net/C#/JQuery/MVC/Web Service Frameworks preferred

 Proficient in working with APIs and Web Services

 Knowledge of MS SQL Server preferred
