Job description

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our clinical team and drive the continued success of our substance abuse treatment facility in Sebring, FL. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care, support clinical staff development, and ensure efficient, compliant operations—all while making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Position Details:
  • Reporting to: Executive Director
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM
  • Location: Sebring, FL (On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Clinical Treatment Team and staff meetings, guiding and mentoring staff.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for clinical staff, ensuring a focus on professional growth and high-quality care.
  • Deliver direct patient services, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of treatment plans and discharge summaries.
  • Evaluate patient progress and assess therapeutic interventions.
  • Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all state, federal, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Complete clinical chart audits, QA reports, and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations and utilization review tasks, ensuring optimal patient care and treatment levels.
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Maintain clear communication with staff, patients, and external partners to ensure seamless care and operational efficiency.
  • Regularly engage with the Senior Management Team to promote inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to clinical and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human services field.
  • LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Florida.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in addiction and/or mental health settings.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with state regulations, patient confidentiality, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Certification(s) related to addiction treatment, such as CAADC or Trauma Certification.
