As a Sr. Program Manager on Alexa Audio, you are responsible for defining and delivering important programs aimed at enabling the audio experience for internal and external partners with broad cross-organizational, cross-regional, and significant business impact. In this role, you will be responsible for managing conceptualizing, scoping, and delivering large projects end-to-end. Your focus will be on work streams related to Legal, Privacy, Trust, and our Voice of Customer programs throughout Audio as they relate to broader Alexa and Amazon goals. Responsibilities include managing internal stakeholders, creating risk mitigation plans, developing forward looking strategic road maps, understanding/translating customer needs into business and systems requirements, driving project schedules from design to release, managing pre/post production launches, and being a liaison across multiple internal orgs. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market needs, all while clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal and external teams. You frequently work with senior leadership within Amazon and our key external partners, so written and verbal skills are important.
Key job responsibilities
Take ownership of large-scale business problems, identify and execute possible short and long-term solutions.
Work cross-functionally with Legal, Privacy, Trust, Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Insights and Analytics to deliver programs effectively.
Develop mechanisms, processes, and measurement of partner performance and org-wide scalability.
Identify global stakeholder needs and implement prioritization frameworks.
Contribute to the definition of our partner program technical strategy and execution.
Partner with customers, internal teams, external stakeholders, and various other Amazon groups to define the roadmap and associated priority.
Work directly with complex third party partners, managing relationships, external dependencies, and end-to-end program coordination.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience working with Legal programs and Legal related work streams

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
