Position Introduction:
OK-INBRE (the Oklahoma IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence), housed in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology, is seeking a Lead Admin Support Specialist to join our team. OK-INBRE serves to bolster biomedical research infrastructure, outcomes, and the STEM educational pipeline throughout Oklahoma. The selected candidate will work with the Senior Program Administrator and PI to support effective communication with internal & external stakeholders and across the statewide network of participating institutions.
The Lead Admin Support Specialist will play a vital role in execution and tracking of major programmatic initiatives including annual funding opportunities, student internships, outreach, meetings, and events. The applicant must possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with faculty, staff, and students. This role also requires someone that is comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines, and is detail-oriented.
