A Senior Production Supervisor job in Jacksonville, FL is available at Renaissance Windows and Doors. You must have prior supervisory experience in a similar role. The Senior Production Supervisor must be able to motivate employees to achieve budget targets and training milestones. Must be an effective communicator, capable of teaching and generating results while enhancing the work environment and supporting the Company vision. The company is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door products for the new construction and replacement markets. Senior Production Supervisor job responsibilities include:
  • Manage staffing, orientation, training, and team member development for employees on multiple product lines.
  • Responsible for: developing people; improving processes; reducing costs; quality monitoring and improvements; and meeting on-time delivery.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels to ensure manufacturing requirements are met while minimizing costs.
  • Responsible for planning departmental operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
  • Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Ensures manufacturing team enforce Company policies and procedures, plant-wide safety policies, and employee rules of conduct.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, terminating, disciplining, and coaching employees.
  • Able to motivate employees to achieve results. Must be an effective communicator, capable of teaching and generating results while enhancing the work environment and supporting the Company vision.
  • Customer centric (internal and external). High Service oriented. 
  • Driving a culture of Zero Safety Incidents.
  • Use data, Lean tools, Root Cause Analysis or GMPs to develop implement and implement effective corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • Our ideal candidate will have three-plus years in a manufacturing leadership role with previous multi-line responsibility.
  • Experience using procurement, operations, and ERP software preferred.
  • Prior experience in improving operational processes and LEAN methodology.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
  • Collaborate and lead in a positive manner, no human wreckage.
