Sr. Product Manager, Grain & Protein
The North America Grain Product Management team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to be the owner of the product lifecycle and develop a strategic vision and roadmap to drive innovation for our customers and growth for the GSI Grain business. As a key member of the product development team, the Sr. PM will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of GSI's product portfolio, focusing on North America markets
Your Impact
The Product Manager will serve as a strategic and tactical leader, responsible for driving the success of our product portfolio through disciplined product management practices and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include:
  • Exemplify Leadership and Growth Mindset: Demonstrate curiosity, openness to learning, and a commitment to excellence, and serve as a business leader who embraces change, motivated to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and evolving product space.
  • Champion Voice of Customer and Voice of Business: Engage deeply with customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders to gather insights, synthesize feedback, and convert qualitative data into actionable strategies.
  • Cultivate the Product Development Funnel: Manage the end-to-end product development process from ideation through implementation, leveraging our defined New Product Introduction Process (NPIP) to ensure effective product launches into the production and market environments.
  • Define and Develop Product Specifications: Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable product specifications that guide development and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, i.e. engineering, operations, marketing, and sales, to align product initiatives with organizational goals and drive the business forward without direct reporting lines.
  • Execute Tactical Project Management: Ensure projects progress effectively by managing timelines, resources, and deliverables with precision and accountability.
  • Manage the Full Product Lifecycle: Oversee the lifecycle of products from initial concept through launch and eventual product obsolescence.
  • Own Product Positioning and Competitive Intelligence: Maintain and evolve product positioning strategies while actively monitoring competitive landscapes to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.

Your Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, ideally within agriculture or industrial/manufactured products, with full lifecycle ownership.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) and a strong understanding of product development processes and technical specifications is preferred.
  • Comfortable working hands-on in the field, with customers, or in operations to gain firsthand insights with overnight travel as needed.
  • Actively seek opportunities to grow and improve with a strong curiosity when presented with new challenges or opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards and consistently deliver results with a demonstrated ability to drive quality and effectiveness across product initiatives.
  • Bring a confident, accountable, and forward-thinking mindset to lead initiatives that create meaningful impact and contribute to organizational success.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering results on time and within scope.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and take initiative to move projects forward including tactical execution and cross-functional coordination.

Your Compensation and Benefits
Expected annual salary for this role will be $100,000 - $125,000, plus eligible for an annual bonus. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.
