Position Summary

The Senior Analyst of Specialty FP&A will report to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. As an FP&A Sr. Analyst you will support the Specialty Pharmacy business unit at CVS Health in budgeting, modeling, forecasting and variance analysis. Some areas of focus for this role could include Biosimilars and drug acquisition costs.Key activities for the role includes:

  • Assists in the preparation of monthly financial packages to be presented to senior management
  • Assists in the creation of an annual operating budget and annual strategic plan
  • Develops margin analyses, projections, reports, and presentations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and ensures financial data accuracy
  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments
  • Carries out special financial planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity which may include: financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, competition, investments, etc

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or related financial roles within a complex organization.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pharmacy, healthcare, or services-based financial models

  • Strong understanding of month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Working knowledge of SQL and Access

  • Strong communication skills

  • Hands on experience with AI


Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
