Our client is a well-established manufacturing organization in Brantford that is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented MRP Analyst to join their Materials team on a 1-year contract.


THE ROLE

Reporting to the Materials Manager, the MRP Analyst will play a key role in supporting production by maintaining the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, monitoring inventory accuracy, performing inventory analysis, and assisting with production planning activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys working with data, inventory, ERP systems, and cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and support the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to ensure accurate planning data.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through reporting, cycle counts, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • Create, analyze, and maintain cycle count reports and inventory data.
  • Assist with inventory allocations to support production and work order execution.
  • Generate regular statistical reports and manufacturing performance analyses.
  • Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with ERP system improvements and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Support inventory control, reporting, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain compliance with all company health and safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
  • Experience using MRP and ERP systems.
  • Strong inventory control and inventory analysis experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
