Polsinelli’s Chicago office has an immediate opening for a Senior Licensing Specialist to assist its Health Care group with regulatory compliance.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Compile and submit, in a timely manner, regulatory documents according to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regulatory advice to project teams.
  • Respond to regulatory authorities’ questions with strict deadlines.
  • Maintain regulatory files in a format consistent with requirements.
  • Develop and initiate complex regulatory project plans.
  • Maintain and update existing regulatory authorizations.
  • Represent Regulatory Affairs in project teams.
  • May review promotional material for compliance with local regulations.
  • Ensure that confidentiality of information is kept to a high standard.
  • Maintain current knowledge regarding application legislation, guidelines, and client practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Certificate program in paralegal studies or the equivalent education preferred
  • Experience in a regulatory environment or health care-related field
  • Exercise independent judgment
  • Scientific knowledge
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of regulations
  • Ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines
  • Ability to identify compliance risks and elevate when necessary

The budgeted salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000.
