Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OSP Field Operations Technician I specialized in fiber optics to join our team. As an OSP Field Operations Technician I at Ezee Fiber, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining our high-performance fiber optic network. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in FTTH installation and fiber construction/pulling/splicing, who are passionate about technology, enjoy working outdoors, and are eager to grow their technical skills in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications

•    Trouble shoot, splice and testing of fiber optic cable. 
•    Support maintenance and repair activities for fiber optic infrastructure.
•    Conduct basic site surveys and report findings to senior technicians or engineers.
•    Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as fusion splicers and OTDRs.
•    Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all field operations.
•    Document work performed, including installation details and service outcomes.
•    Respond to service calls and assist with emergency repairs as needed.
•    Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
•    Participate in training programs to develop technical competencies and stay current with industry trends.
