Senior Manager, Commercial Operations & Customer Experience

Location: Irvine, California (On-site)
Company: Boston Aesthetics, Inc.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Build the Commercial Engine Behind a High-Growth Medical Aesthetics Company

Boston Aesthetics is transforming the U.S. aesthetics market through innovative energy-based medical devices and advanced aesthetic technologies. As we continue building our U.S. commercialization platform, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Manager, Commercial Operations & Customer Experience to help create the operational foundation that will support rapid nationwide growth.

About the Role

This is not a traditional operations role.

This role is far more than a traditional operations or administrative position. The Senior Manager, Commercial Operations & Customer Experience serves as the operational hub of Boston Aesthetics' U.S. commercial organization, ensuring every customer transition from signed contract to successful installation, clinical adoption, and long-term satisfaction is seamless.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role that serves as the operational backbone of our U.S. commercial organization. Rather than focusing solely on operations, this position is responsible for ensuring that every customer engagement—from sales execution through implementation, training, service, and ongoing support—is coordinated, scalable, and executed with excellence.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Clinical Education, Field Service, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and Executive Leadership, you will develop and optimize the processes, systems, and operational workflows that enable the organization to grow efficiently while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute. You enjoy creating structure where none exists, improving cross-functional collaboration, leveraging data to drive decisions, and implementing scalable processes that support commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve commercial operations, customer experience, and post-sale business processes.
  • Develop scalable workflows supporting the entire customer lifecycle, from order management and implementation through ongoing customer success.
  • Drive sales operations, reporting, forecasting, pipeline visibility, and operational analytics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution between Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, Clinical Education, Field Service, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Oversee operational readiness for customer implementations, installations, clinical training, warranty support, service coordination, and inventory visibility.
  • Develop operational dashboards, KPIs, executive reporting, and performance metrics that support business decisions.
  • Build standardized operating procedures, documentation, and process improvements that enable organizational scale.
  • Support strategic customer accounts, product launches, conferences, demonstrations, and commercial initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational performance across the business.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to leadership by providing operational insights, recommendations, and execution support.

Qualifications

Required

  • Significant progressive experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Customer Experience, Business Operations, Customer Success, Medical Device Operations, or a related commercial operations function, with a demonstrated track record of driving cross-functional execution and operational excellence.
  • Experience supporting capital equipment, medical devices, healthcare technology, or other regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and improving operational processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred

Experience within medical aesthetics, energy-based devices, dermatology, plastic surgery, capital medical equipment, or other FDA-regulated medical device organizations is highly preferred.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a hands-on, solutions-oriented leader who enjoys building organizations, improving processes, and driving execution across multiple functions. The ideal candidate combines operational discipline with a customer-first mindset and has a proven ability to translate strategy into scalable business operations.

Ideal Background

Candidates from the following industries are highly encouraged to apply:

Medical Aesthetics

Medical Device / MedTech

Equivalent experience supporting capital medical equipment businesses is welcome.

What Makes You Successful

You are:

  • A builder who enjoys creating processes from scratch
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through
  • Customer-focused and solutions-oriented
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable balancing strategy with day-to-day execution
  • Collaborative across multiple departments
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience

Why Join Boston Aesthetics?

  • Opportunity to build a commercial organization from the ground up
  • High visibility with executive leadership
  • Significant career growth potential
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture
  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact on a rapidly growing medical device company
  • Work with innovative technology transforming the aesthetics industry

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid Time Off and company holidays
