About the Role

Portfolio Operations within the Global Operations Group has an open position for a Senior ETF Operations Analyst.The analyst will work closely with the Principal ETF Analyst to perform all current ETF responsibilities for existing funds.Once proficient and independent on these functions, the analyst will assist with the role out of a large ETF project for the firm.The project will include a focus on process optimization through the identification and implantation of technology solutions to increase operational efficiency and build scale.Once live, the senior will then assume additional responsibilities necessary to support the business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Portfolio Management, Product Management, Investment Implementation, Trading, Operations, Technology, Legal and Compliance to effectively grow and operationalize our lineup of ETF products
  • Collaborate with investment teams, Legal and Compliance to create and maintain ETF-specific policies and procedures, especially as they pertain to custom baskets.
  • Help lead specific key initiatives that are critical to evolving our ETF business such as the build out of basket construction and tax-optimized trade routing
  • Primary internal contact and subject matter expert for ETF product discussions
  • Establish and maintain relationships across ETF Capital Markets including Authorized Participants (Aps), Market Makers, Third Party Technology and Data Vendors
  • Stay updated on developments in the broader ETF ecosystem
  • Monitor and assess the ETF operations control environment; identify potential issues and their impact on internal controls and drive a course of action to mitigate risk
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, and time management skills
  • Serve as thought partner to investment and product teams with an emphasis on minimizing capital gains

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant investment operations experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study
  • Solid Understanding of the ETF ecosystem and the operational aspects of launching & managing ETFs, as well as the benefits of the ETF structure
  • Comfortable working in an evolving environment, this is a new business, and the role will change as the product grows and we implement technology solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Individual must be an independent self-starter, a team player
  • Able to work on multiple assignments and complete high-quality work against strict and competing deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential

The base salary range for this position is:

USD 90,000 - 180,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
