As Senior Manager, Live Event Production, you'll contribute to the strategic vision and lead the endtoend execution of Nintendo's inperson and digital competitive events across North America, partnering closely with global teams, executives, and creative collaborators. This role involves handson leadership-overseeing event production, vendor partnerships, content creation, and a highperforming team-to deliver polished, playerfirst experiences that reflect Nintendo's iconic IP, product excellence, and storytelling. If you thrive at the intersection of live production, competitive gaming, and crossfunctional leadership, this is an opportunity to shape how Nintendo engages players on a global stage.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Identifies, establishes and aligns competitive play strategy and objectives with Competitive Play Executive Team.
  • Communicates strategies, objectives, and progress to executives and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring executional integration and alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Leads, develops and mentors the Competitive Play team and all team members; cultivates a positive team culture and an environment that encourages employees to develop new capabilities and maximize professional growth.
  • Leads the planning and execution of all in-person and online competitive events. Tracks and reports results, trends and opportunities to executives and stakeholders.
  • Ensures strong global coordination and alignment through regular ongoing communication with global competitive play stakeholders across Nintendo Company Limited (NCL), Nintendo of Europe (NOE), and other territories and organizations.
  • Leads project management of all competitive play activities and collaborates with key stakeholders to deliver on all project milestones.
  • Drives creation of content marketing and supporting video assets in support of all competitive play executions.
  • Partners with division and team leadership to develop and communicate the strategic vision and direction for competitive play events to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Identifies and manages key outside vendors and production partners, ensuring quality execution in accordance with Nintendo philosophy and standards across all event production, approvals, and other deliverables; manages partner relationships.
  • Balances input and feedback from NOA executives, NCL management, development teams, supervisors, North American market factors, Product Development and Publishing (Treehouse), campaign planning, and product knowledge for successful product launches and event production and execution in North America.
  • Works closely, effectively, and in cooperation with multimedia support staff in creating and reviewing key video assets in support footage.
  • As designated, may represent Nintendo as an official corporate spokesperson; successful completion of training required.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • 8 years of experience in product development, event production or related field.
  • 5 years of people management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to gain cooperation among multiple departments and individuals representing various functions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely, cooperatively, and effectively with different departments and with parent company required
  • Valid passport may be required for international travel
  • Training in project management skills, tools and techniques.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or applicable field.
