Job description

The primary responsibility of the Network Operations Engineer is to provide Network Engineer support to the Network Operations team to ensure the successful and reliable operation of GVTC’s network. This position provides top-level support for Network Operations core competencies including but not limited to surveillance, maintenance, troubleshooting, provisioning, backups, upgrades, SLAs, documentation, incident management, and change management. Requirements of the job include 24x7 availability to assist the Network Operations team with resolving network outages and supporting SLAs for applicable customers. Additional responsibilities include frequent interactions with Network Engineering to test and implement new features and systems in support of GVTC’s future growth opportunities. Also provides training for the Network Operations Center and other departments when applicable.
