Agile Interface / Integration Engineer (Cloud) - Senior - #911

Position Overview 

The Senior Agile Interface / Integration Engineer (Cloud) applies advanced engineering capabilities to design, monitor, and adapt system interfaces. Operating with minimal oversight, this role focuses on the execution of automated interface testing, verifying data flow designs, and managing functional sprint backlogs to streamline multi-platform software capabilities into the NASIC Unified Cloud (NUC). 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Technical Vendor Interfacing: Acts as the dedicated technical point of contact to collaborate and align ongoing application development with software engineers representing Vendor or related vendor ecosystems. 
  • Capability Integration & Adaptation: Performs detailed interface requirements analysis, compatibility testing, and design modifications to integrate advanced computational tools and external data ingestion streams. 
  • Outage Execution & Delivery Tracking: Tracks major program and vendor sprint deliveries to ensure proper coordination with stakeholders. Executes specific tasks within the Transaction Activity Plan (TAP) and validates software behavior following system cutovers or network updates. 
  • Agile Pipeline & Board Alignment: Translates interface engineering data requirements into clear user stories. Manages interface-related backlogs within standardized JIRA and Confluence review boards to ensure vendor capabilities match rapid sprint testing cadences. 

Qualifications & Experience 

Required: 

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience OR a Master's degree and 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience leading team-tasks for integrating complex cloud applications, managing API endpoints, and utilizing software-based testbeds or network simulators. 
  • Clearance & Compliance: Active TS/SCI security clearance for 100% on-site support at Wright-Patterson AFB. Demonstrated proficiency drafting technical specifications according to DoD interfacing and data standards. 

Desired: 

  • NASIC Experience: NASIC experience highly desired, not mandatory.
