Senior Network Architect / SME (TO-680)
Diverse Agile Solutions (DAS) | Washington, DC (On-site/Hybrid)
U.S. Citizenship Required | Contract through 2026 (extension possible)
At least 10 years of experience and degree in a related field
About the Role
DAS is seeking a Senior Network Architect / SME to lead the design, optimization, and operation of large-scale enterprise networks supporting federal initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role for an expert in routing, data center networking, and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise routing architecture (BGP, OSPF, traffic engineering)
  • Design and operate spine-leaf data center fabrics (VXLAN/EVPN)
  • Execute network migrations and changes with minimal downtime
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across network, security, and application layers
  • Enhance network segmentation, access control, and visibility
  • Integrate secure edge solutions (Zscaler, Cisco FTD)

Qualifications
  • Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, VXLAN/EVPN
  • Strong experience with Cisco (Nexus, Catalyst, NX-OS, IOS-XE)
  • Hands-on troubleshooting with Wireshark / packet analysis
  • Experience with Cisco ISE, Gigamon, or similar tools
  • CCIE-level knowledge preferred (cert not required)
  • Experience in large-scale or federal environments is a plus
