Job description

Description: Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as a OneDrive Storage Engineer supporting a mission-critical program. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise storage solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and OneDrive migrations and global NetApp storage environments. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, ensure high availability and performance, and support secure, scalable data storage operations.

Key Responsibilities: * Lead enterprise data migrations to Microsoft 365 (M365) and OneDrive, ensuring seamless integration and minimal impact to operations. * Design and execute migration strategies from on-premises NetApp storage to cloud-based M365 and OneDrive platforms, following security and industry best practices. * Administer, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot global NetApp storage systems.

* Monitor storage performance and capacity, implementing proactive measures to maintain scalability, reliability, and availability. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver storage solutions aligned with mission and business objectives. * Provide expert-level support for storage-related incidents, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution.

* Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, operational procedures, and standard operating guidelines. * Implement and enforce data management and storage policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. * Stay current with emerging storage and cloud technologies, assessing and recommending enhancements where appropriate.

Qualifications: * Fourteen (14) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope (five additional years may substitute for a bachelor's degree). * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. * Expertise in Microsoft 365/OneDrive data migrations and NetApp storage administration.

* Experience with backup, replication, disaster recovery, and enterprise storage troubleshooting. Requirements: * U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
