Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full lifecycle of enterprise storage platforms across classified production environments, including architecture, deployment, optimization, and decommissioning
  • Architect data center build-outs with integrated object storage, compute, and networking infrastructure
  • Establish and enforce storage infrastructure standards to reduce unplanned downtime and improve operational reliability
  • Deploy and manage enterprise storage solutions like Dell EMC PowerScale/Isilon, NetApp ONTAP, Cohesity, and Nutanix platforms

  • Manage SAN fabric infrastructure (Fibre Channel, Brocade, Cisco) and network-attached storage protocols (SMB/CIFS, NFS, iSCSI)
  • Serve as senior escalation point for complex storage, server, and infrastructure issues across the enterprise
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers as needed
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for mission-critical infrastructure support
  • Conduct technology refresh planning and execution, including hardware lifecycle management and EOL migrations
