Job Summary:
Keylent Inc is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Modeler to join their team. The role involves designing and implementing data models, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with project technologies while adhering to data modeling standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Should have end-end DW/Semantic/DataMart implementation knowledge
• Design, implement, data warehouse architecture and Data Modeling Solutions, including relational and dimensional models.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
• Lead the implementation of RDBMS, Operational Data Store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on designated platforms.
• Able to build models based on 3NF and STAR Schema/Data Mart.
• Define and enforce data modeling standards, tools, and best practices for enterprise data models.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Interact with subject matter experts (SMEs) and Architects to validate data model alignment with project technologies.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration and communication between onshore and offshore teams for efficient project execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, and related fields.
• Extensive experience in designing Operational Data Store (ODS), Dimensional data models, and ER data models.
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture best practices and data governance within a large enterprise context.
• Proficiency in designing Data Marts using Star Schemas and integrating Power BI for end-user needs.
• Hands-on experience in modeling, design, configuration, installation, and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with onshore and offshore teams.
Preferred:
• Knowledge in Azure is preferred
