Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused federal IT program in Washington DC.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000
Join Everforth ECS Federal to support the secure enterprise systems that power critical federal missions. You will contribute to a collaborative, growing team focused on reliability, security, operational excellence, and continuous improvement for national security and law enforcement users.
The Senior Systems Engineer will provide senior-level systems engineering support for enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, endpoints, messaging systems, databases, and related technologies. This role supports reliable, secure, and compliant operations across complex federal mission environments.
The Senior Systems Engineer will lead system deployments, patching, performance tuning, high availability planning, lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and technical documentation. This position will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, support secure configurations, maintain operational continuity, and help ensure enterprise systems remain resilient, available, and aligned with mission and compliance requirements.
This role requires a hands-on senior technical professional with experience supporting enterprise systems in secure or regulated environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, documentation discipline, technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate across network, cybersecurity, service desk, engineering, and government stakeholder teams in a classified or sensitive federal IT environment.
