The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting the SCADA (Ignition) and MES (Sepasoft) applications for Spartanburg NGDV assembly.

This individual will support both SCADA/MES enhancements and daily Production system uptime.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and modify SCADA/MES Systems, including Tag generation, report development, and configuration
  • Conduct SCADA/MES operator training as necessary
  • Provide on-hands Production support for SCADA/MES system to ensure it is online during 1st shift
  • Collaborate with internal/external personnel in the design, development, and implementation of MES integration enhancements with PLCs, JDE, and other systems
  • Support the development of functional specifications, test cases, and design documentation
  • Support the development of controls standards for NGDV
  • Oversee protection of SCADA/MES environment and ensures data security and integrity by helping establish operational guidelines including privacy, security, editing, validating and restart/recovery controls
  • Assistance in the deployment of technology other than SCADA/MES will also be expected

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Development and support experience with Ignition and Sepasoft
  • 3-5 years of experience as a SCADA or MES engineer or developer
  • Working knowledge of Rockwell PLCs or Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols
  • Experience with Python, Java, Jython, C, C+, C++, SQL, and/or other languages
  • Proficiency with Windows Servers

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Utilizing integrations (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC APIs, Web Services) and how to produce/consume data from various systems
  • Understands OEE concepts and able to apply into an MES platform
  • Working knowledge of Track and Trace technologies and able to apply the concepts into an MES platform
  • Understands the concepts of ERP systems as it pertains to work orders, routings, etc.
  • Understands the concepts of Production scheduling
  • Managing code repositories (IE - Github)

Pay Range:

$92,600.00 - $154,400.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
