The Senior Merchandising Analyst supports merchandising and product strategy through data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. It delivers assortment performance insights, manages reporting for internal teams and design partners, and supports assortment optimization and data accuracy. The position partners closely with Product, Sales, Planning, and Design teams to align on business objectives and drive informed decision-making.

How success is defined:

  • Collaborate with Product and Brand Development teams to provide recurring and ad hoc reports on various assortment performance activities and measures to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver regular assortment and business performance reports to design partners
  • Support comprehensive assortment review processes to evaluate the success of assortment strategies and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Prepare presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support Product Development team in product data management and lead data validation processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Planning, Sales, and Design to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies and goals.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to details.
  • Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule.  While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.

What you will bring:

  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from a school accredited by the U.S. Department of Education with specialization in economics, business, finance, or a related field.
  • This position requires a minimum of seven (7) years or more of full-time experience in Analytics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a consumable manner.
  • Proficient in Power BI and working with coding languages such as SQL or VBA.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and deliver results.
  • Experience improving/automating processes.
  • Strong data visualization skills.
  • Experience working with/analyzing large amounts of data.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, promoting positive work relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Capacity to utilize effective time management skills and be able to work under the stress of multiple deadlines, requests from other departments, and interruptions with accuracy.
  • Capacity to be self-motivated and achieve goals with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings as needed.

Compensation Range: $95,000 - $110,000
