What does a senior mechanical inspector do?

A Senior Mechanical Inspector is responsible for examining and evaluating mechanical systems, components, and installations to ensure they meet safety standards, codes, and project specifications. They inspect machinery, HVAC systems, piping, and other mechanical installations, often at construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Senior Mechanical Inspectors also document their findings, recommend corrective actions, and may supervise other inspectors. Their role is crucial in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance in mechanical engineering projects.
