Job description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the execution of the Credit Union's marketing strategy to drive membership growth, brand awareness, and community engagement. This role serves as the operational leader of the Marketing Department, overseeing day-to-day department activities, marketing resources, project workflows, and team priorities to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives. The Marketing Manager ensures campaigns are well planned, creative, compliant, data-driven, and aligned with Credit Union goals. As a brand steward, this position helps position the Credit Union as a trusted, community-focused financial partner while fostering collaboration and accountability across all marketing activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to members served by the Credit Union.
1. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department, establishing priorities and assigning work among marketing team members to ensure resources are aligned with strategic objectives and deadlines. Manages project prioritization, workflow management, resource allocation, production scheduling, policies and procedures to support efficient and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
2. Manages the planning, execution, and performance tracking of marketing campaigns aligned with annual marketing and strategic goals, with a focus on member acquisition, retention, and product adoption.
3. Leads marketing projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, resources and stakeholder communications are effectively managed.
4. Oversees the development and deployment of content and messaging that supports campaign objectives, strategic priorities, and brand standards.
5. Ensures strong internal communication of all campaigns; equips frontline staff with clear, timely information and tools so they can confidently support member inquiries.
6. Monitors and analyzes campaign performance, using data and insights to optimize engagement, digital traffic, and ROI.
7. Creates and supports an engaging work environment by providing ongoing coaching and development to direct reports. Conducts regular one-on-ones and team meetings. Shares information from management meetings with staff when appropriate to facilitate communication throughout the organization. Conducts performance evaluations and makes hiring and promotional recommendations.
8. Manages relationships with external marketing agencies, media partners, and vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables as well as brand consistency and regulatory compliance.
9. Directs content planning and production across all channels, including website, social media, email, newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.
10. Maintains marketing databases and reporting tools; prepares regular reports on campaign performance and key metrics for leadership.
11. Executes public relations and community engagement initiatives as well as sponsorship and local partnership activities under the strategic direction of the SVP Community Engagement & Marketing. Represents the Credit Union at community events and networking events as assigned.
12. Coordinates and maintains relationships with local media contacts, community organizations, and event partners in support of marketing and community engagement initiatives.
13. Ensures all marketing materials and communications comply with applicable financial regulations and internal policies.
14. Acts as brand steward by reviewing various communications across the organization for consistency in voice, messaging, and visual identity.
15. Supports the day to day management of marketing expenses within the approved budget.

17. Adheres to All One Credit Union policies and procedures. Responsible for compliance with the following regulations: BSA, OFAC, and other regulations as required.

19. Stay current on marketing trends, digital tools, and financial services industry best practices.
Supervisory Responsibility:
The Senior Marketing Specialist reports directly to this position.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five to eight years' experience, preferably within a financial institution or regulated industry. Demonstrated strength in project management, including ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and stakeholders. Proven leadership and team development experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into effective campaigns. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing analytics tools and CRM systems preferred.

This position may be eligible to work remotely up to 2 days per week after 3 months of hire in accordance with the Work From Home Guidelines. The salary range for this role is between $87,870.03 - $131,805.04. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors as permitted by law.
