Weโ€™re Hiring: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer ready to lead technical innovation and develop high-performing engineering teams?

Aerostar Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introductions, manufacturing process development, customer Design Quality Reviews (DQRs), and continuous improvement initiatives while managing and mentoring a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Lead manufacturing process development from concept through production launch
  • Represent Aerostar during customer Design Quality Review (DQR) meetings
  • Drive APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, GD&T, Control Plans, and manufacturing readiness activities
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Program Management, and customers to ensure successful product launches
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
  • 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong expertise in APQP, PPAP, GD&T, PFMEA, Control Plans, Lean Manufacturing, and manufacturing process development
  • Experience supporting OEM and Tier 1 automotive customers
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
