Program Senior Manager

GDIT is currently seeking a Program Senior Manager in Bethesda, MD. to join our team. This position will report directly to the GDIT Executive assigned to the program and have frequent contact with federal leadership, customers, direct reports, peers and managers.

How the Program Senior Manager will make an impact

  • Manage, develop, and motivate a team of Service Desk, Deskside Support, and Backend Support professionals to deliver excellent technical support with a high degree of customer satisfaction while meeting all Service Level Agreements.
  • Assist the federal customer with IT centralization and modernization.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in IT or related field of expertise
  • Five (5) consecutive years of demonstrated successful management of multifaceted technical programs and similar work, and
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Similar size and scope as CIT in support of ICOs and MOU customers
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing complex contract program initiatives, change control processes, and managing diverse technical requirements
  • Experience writing reports for executive leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to review and comprehend Service Level Agreements and requirements documents
  • Ability to analyze the performance of IT services using metric analysis tools
  • Experience interfacing with customers to gather and accurately interpret IT requirements
  • Experience providing current / active Project Management Professional (PMP) certified, or equivalent experienced staff, for roles that include the management of the program or significant teams
