Job description

Overview

BerryDunn is seeking an Audit Senior Manager to join our core team serving commercial industry clients and to help lead our engagement service team. You will join a team tasked with conducting audits, reviews and consulting services for our clients in commercial industries such as manufacturing, technology, and critical infrastructure. You will report to the Principals in this Practice Group.


This position may work from one of our offices located in Manchester, NH, Waltham, MA, Portland, ME, New Haven CT or Bangor, ME locations.


Travel Expectations: This role requires occasionaltravel, up to 20%.


You Will

  • Manage, direct and monitor multipleclient engagements; schedule and coordinate workflow and staffing forprojects and engagements.

  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.

  • Research and analyze financial statements and related issues utilizing electronic databases and employ software to audit, review and compile financial information, as well as possess the ability to document conclusions developed during the engagement.

  • Consult, work with, and service clients to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to clients.

  • Team with Principals and other Senior Managers on proposals and business development activities

  • Supervise, lead, and mentor associates and interns on engagements and assess performance of staff.

  • Participate in personal and professional development sessions on a regular basis.


You Have

  • BS/MS degree in Accounting

  • 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience, preferably with commercial clients (manufacturing, retail, wholesale, technology, infrastructure, etc.)

  • CPA license

  • Excellent technical skills, including an understanding of professional rules, and regulations

  • Highly evolved analytical and problem solving ability

  • Proven supervisory and training success

  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment

  • Excellent communication and client service skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and organizational skills


Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $125,000 - $170,000. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on factors such as company and personal performance. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
