Job description

Job Description:
Job Description
The Website Content Manager supports the execution of BraunAbility's website content strategy, turning plans into published, well-structured, technically sound pages. This is the person who publishes and maintains content in our enterprise CMS, keeps the site organized and discoverable through search, and helps resolve the technical SEO issues that keep our content healthy and findable.
This is an individual-contributor role that partners closely with the Senior Manager of Website Strategy & Experience and our development team. It suits a hands-on builder who is organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning day-to-day execution while contributing ideas to the broader plan.
Essential Functions
Content Execution & CMS
  • Publish and maintain website content in our enterprise CMS (Adobe Experience Manager), using components and templates to produce consistent, on-brand pages, and partnering with our development team on builds.
  • Execute the large-scale page rewrite and content restructure: publishing updated content, and helping consolidate or retire outdated pages while maintaining quality and consistency across the site.

Technical SEO & Site Health
  • Identify, flag, and help resolve technical SEO issues, including broken links, redirect chains, and crawl and indexation problems, using tools like Conductor and Google Search Console, escalating complex fixes to our development partner.
  • Support and maintain the site's content structure (the pillar-and-cluster model) and internal linking as content is published, to strengthen topical authority and discoverability.
  • Help keep the XML sitemap current so published content stays discoverable and indexable.

Content Operations & On-Page SEO
  • Develop content briefs that guide writers on structure, target questions, and SEO best practices.
  • Apply on-page SEO and answer-engine fundamentals (metadata, headers, schema, question-based structure, alt text) so content performs in both traditional and AI-driven search.
  • Partner with product marketers and writers to move content from draft to published, optimized page.

Collaboration & Execution
  • Help translate website strategy into sequenced, day-to-day execution, and flag dependencies, risks, or roadblocks as they come up.
  • Help track content and page-build work so requests, status, and ownership stay visible and nothing falls through the cracks.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Hands-on experience with a content management system, with the ability to ramp on Adobe Experience Manager if coming from a comparable enterprise platform.
  • Working technical SEO skills: familiarity with site structure, internal linking, sitemaps, and diagnosing common site-health issues (broken links, redirects, indexation gaps), with the ability to translate findings into a prioritized action plan.
  • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals: keywords, metadata, site structure, and how content gets found.
  • Working knowledge of answer-engine / AI-search concepts (AEO/GEO) and question-based content structure.
  • Understanding of pillar-and-cluster content architecture and how site organization drives discoverability.
  • Comfort with analytics basics (GA4 or similar) to keep work measurable, and familiarity with person-first, inclusive, and accessible content practices.
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and a collaborative, cross-functional working style.
  • A builder's mindset: comfortable executing day-to-day work while contributing ideas to the broader plan.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in website management, technical SEO, content operations, or digital execution, including hands-on work with a content management system.
  • Solid working understanding of SEO fundamentals, including hands-on experience using and optimizing through an SEO platform (such as Semrush, Conductor, or similar).
  • B2C and B2B experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) authoring experience.
  • Experience with Conductor, Semrush, Google Search Console, and GA4.
  • Familiarity with answer-engine / AI-search concepts (AEO/GEO) and question-based content structure.
  • Experience supporting a website content rewrite, refresh, migration, or reorganization project.
