EMPLOYER: Optum Services (Puerto Rico) LLC
JOB TITLE: Senior Manager Data Analytics

LOCATION: 9615 Los Romeros St., Montehiedra Office Centre, 11, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00926 (various unanticipated U.S. and International locations 10%)

DUTIES: Responsible for supervising a team of data professionals, making key decisions on hiring, performance, and development, and resolving complex challenges that span technical, operational, and organizational domains; oversee the creation of dashboards, segmentation models, and business case analyses that directly inform executive decision-making and drive business outcomes; develop and implement end-to-end analytics processes; oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of data initiatives; develop and implement new functional or operational level plans and ensure that analytics activities support the company's overall strategic direction; resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational challenges that extend beyond the immediate team; make impactful product, service, and process decisions that affect entire business functions; collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and lead the development of tools and models such as dashboards, segmentation, and business case analyses; deliver high-quality analytics to business leaders; uphold standards of data quality, consistency, and clarity; foster best practices in data management and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the department; and emphasis on high-performing teams, driving organizational change, and delivering strategic insights that influence decision making at all levels. May work at various unanticipated U.S. and International locations (10%).

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Data Analytics- related occupation.  

Position requires five (5) years of experience in the following:

    Power BI with analysis, programming, and reporting using data storage structures;
    Programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL;
    Interpretation of large sets of structured and unstructured data;
    Database concepts, SWL skills for data manipulation and querying;
    Develop automated reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present complex data in a clear and meaningful manner;
    Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (Matplotlib or Seaborn);
    Data analysis including data manipulation and statistical analysis; and
    Statistical techniques such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.


RATE OF PAY: $124,987 per year
