Job description

Adecco is assisting a client in the recruitment process for a Planning and Logistics Analyst position. This is a permanent job opportunity. This role is responsible for analyzing data, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting logistics operations to ensure product availability while maintaining cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with supply chain processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, distribution centers, and internal teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, planning, purchasing, or related operational functions.

  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP; knowledge of import management platforms such as SURI is preferred.

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify trends.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

  • Ability to work effectively with suppliers, distribution centers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Basic understanding of logistics, inventory control, purchasing, and import processes.

  • Knowledge of transportation methods and logistics-related costs.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Track and manage the complete purchase order lifecycle, from creation through final receipt, ensuring all financial and logistics documentation is accurate and complete.

  • Coordinate import processes through SURI and manage delivery logistics with the distribution center.

  • Update and maintain forecasts for key operational products and process related purchase orders.

  • Maintain SKU databases, technical product information, and support product setup activities within SAP and distribution center systems.

  • Execute SAP transactions related to imports, purchase orders, inventory adjustments, goods receipts, and autoshipments.

  • Review, validate, and approve invoices associated with freight, demurrage, storage, handling, and inventory write-offs.

  • Support cost analysis and adjustments while identifying alternative products and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Investigate and resolve quantity, billing, and inventory discrepancies by coordinating with suppliers, distribution centers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Provide operational support to stores by managing supplier-related issues and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Monitor inventory levels and supplier updates to minimize stockouts and maintain product availability.

  • Track key performance indicators such as fill rate, inventory levels, supplier performance, and logistics metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting while meeting established deadlines.

Benefits

  • Company contribution covering 70% of the monthly medical plan cost* (percentage and/or benefit may vary at the company's discretion).

  • Fifteen (15) days of vacation leave per year, accrued at a rate of 1.25 days per month when working a minimum of 130 hours per month.

  • Twelve (12) days of sick leave per year, accrued at a rate of 1.00 day per month when working a minimum of 130 hours per month.

  • Ten (10) paid holidays per year.

  • Christmas Bonus, in accordance with company policy.

  • Weekly coffee benefit.

  • 30% discount on selected merchandise at company-operated retail stores.

Salary: $14.90 p/h - $19.23 p/h, based on experience.


Pay Details: $14.90 to $19.23 per hour
