Job description

Program Manager - Automation
Ready to Take the Next Step in Your Manufacturing Career?
Are you someone who naturally takes ownership, brings people together to solve problems, and enjoys seeing a project move from an idea to a finished product?
If you have experience working in a manufacturing or technical environment and are ready to grow into a formal Program Management role, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
At ArtiFlex Automation, our Program Managers lead automation projects from kickoff through launch, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to deliver successful solutions. This role offers the opportunity to build your program management skills while working on custom automation projects that directly impact our customers' manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
  • Support and lead automation programs through the full project lifecycle, from kickoff through customer launch.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, installation, and quality, to keep projects moving forward and ensure successful execution.
  • Help manage project schedules, milestones, scope changes, risks, and customer expectations.
  • Partner with technical teams to solve problems and ensure successful project execution.
  • Support project financial performance through cost tracking, change management, and disciplined decision-making.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and opportunities with internal teams, leadership, and customers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen how we execute automation projects.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for someone who is ready to take the next step into Program Management. You may not have held the title of Program Manager, but you have likely gained valuable experience through roles where you have helped coordinate activities, solve problems, and work across teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience in a manufacturing, automation, engineering, or technical environment.
  • Exposure to projects involving multiple teams, departments, suppliers, or customers.
  • Experience helping organize, coordinate, or contribute to projects from start to finish.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both technical teams and customers.
  • A natural ability to take ownership, stay organized, and keep projects moving.
  • A desire to grow technical, business, and leadership skills within Program Management.

This role may be a great fit for someone currently working as a:
  • Manufacturing Engineer
  • Project Engineer
  • Controls Engineer
  • Mechanical Engineer
  • Automation Engineer
  • Applications Engineer
  • Process Engineer
  • Engineering Coordinator
  • Production or Operations Leader
A Great Opportunity to Grow
This is an opportunity to grow into a Program Manager role while gaining hands-on experience managing customer-focused automation projects. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, project leaders, and manufacturing professionals while developing the technical, commercial, and leadership skills needed for long-term career growth.
At ArtiFlex Automation, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact by helping manufacturers solve complex production challenges through innovative automation solutions.
