Job Overview:

The Sr. webMethods Developer will be responsible for conceptual, logical and physical design of the specific components within technical infrastructure, application landscape and business sponsored projects, where webMethods elements are present.

General Responsibilities:        

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,  working with the various technology experts within Crossvale's clients to craft a complete solution to business challenges. The Developer will ensure that the technical solution fits within standards adopted by the organization. Additionally, the candidate will work with the enterprise architect team to define, adapt and maintain those standards, as well as business strategy, legacy and new technology.

The position is responsible for:

  • Producing a definition of technical requirements.

  • Retaining working knowledge of the technology environment in use at clients.

  • Understanding of multiple technologies, integration methodologies and best practice implementations and bringing those technologies to bear on various projects.

  • Building and maintaining relationships across client organizations on architectural directions.

  • Educating technology and business groups on the architectural aspects and implications of technical and functional decisions.

  • Adhering to quality coding standards.

  • Testing code and migrating to production based on governance standards.

  • Assist with setup, maintenance and governance of various deployment environments.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required -- Computer Science, MIS, Math or Engineering degree commensurate with experience.

  • Experience using Optimize for Infrastructure

  • Setting up rules and alerts for Adapter connections, JMS Queues.

  • Experience using Centrasite for creating virtual services and run-time policies.

  • Experience in coding Java or C# programs with webMethods.

  • Minimum two years experience in the fields of application programming, systems development and IT infrastructures.

  • Minimum 3 years development experience with webMethods Flow/Java language.

  • Experience must reflect multiple disciplines such as web development, mainframe programming, system integration, communication protocols ornetwork engineering, among others.

  • Technical skills to include minimally three of the following: webMethods, Citrix, Java, C++, COBOL, Web Services, .NET, WebSphere Application Server, IIS, Informatica ETL tools, Rational tool suite, TCP/IP, Windows, Solaris, MS SQL.

  • Excellent communication skills with lines of business as well as other technical and non-technical staff are a must.

  • Documentation skills also critical.

  • No travel required.

Preferred:

Banking or Financial Services background.
