Our team thrives on creativity and innovation, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in quantum hardware design. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electromagnetic Designer to join our Design team and contribute to the development of the next generation of high-performance quantum processors. Keys responsibilities : Perform electromagnetic simulations to test and optimize quantum processor designs. Develop and refine EM structures to enhance coherence properties and coupling rates. Collaborate on the development of computational tools for design automation. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate optimized electromagnetic components. Conduct design validation and performance analysis to improve hardware efficiency. The selected candidate will operate within a highly dynamic environment and will be an essential member of the Design team, directly contributing to advancing our technology at its physical core. Education and experience requirements : PhD or equivalent industry experience in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field. 5 years of experience in electromagnetic design and finite-element simulations, an asset Experience in quantum hardware design and superconducting microwave circuits. Industry experience with a proven track record in interdisciplinary R&D teams. Sought expertise and knowledge: Deep understanding of electromagnetic theory and microwave engineering principles. Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation software such as Ansys HFSS, PALACE, or similar. Experience in computational modeling and Python programming for scientific applications. Understanding of loss mechanisms and material properties in superconducting devices. Familiarity with automation and high-performance computing techniques. Advanced level in English, to communicate with international team members Intermediate knowledge of French, an asset Sought profile: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive design optimizations. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize complex design challenges. Adaptability in a fast-paced research environment with a proactive and innovative mindset. Passion for advancing quantum computing and deep-tech.
