  • Translate loosely defined problems and qualitative business requirements into clearly scoped technical solutions, with input and approval from the MDs, determine appropriate tools, approaches, and tradeoffs.
  • Evaluate multiple solution paths and with input from the MDs select approaches that balance speed, reliability, governance considerations, and long-term maintainability.
  • Leverage scripting languages, APIs, AI-enabled tools, and low-code/no-code platforms to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Coordinate testing and document, and iterate solutions based on structured feedback and observed usage patterns.
  • May develop reusable automation patterns, templates, and documentation to support scaling solutions across teams.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Knowledge, Security, and Risk partners to ensure solutions align with firm standards, data handling requirements, and governance expectations.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated experience building workflow automations, technical prototypes, or AI-assisted solutions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of workflow automation concepts, system integration, and modern AI-enabled technologies.
  • Ability to translate non-technical, experience-based input into structured technical and operational solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively with some supervisory input, in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
