Description: NSI requires an Senior Electrical Engineer-Metrology/Test Equipment to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Avionics and Metrology Divisions. In this role you will provide full-spectrum Electrical Engineering Support in the production environment within the FRCSE. The Avionics and SE divisions support the Fleet using a multitude of test benches/Test Program Sets/ Common Support Equipment (CSE) and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) providing end products to the U.S. Naval Aviation Fleet. The Avionics work centers provide fully Ready for Issue (RFI) components including Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs). The WRAs and SRAs support multiple Navy and Marine Corps type/model/series aircraft. Essential Job Functions: Apply electrical/electronic engineering knowledge in support of the design, development, T&E, implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration of new and/or existing test equipment and support equipment systems. The candidate will collaborate, plan and execute in support of repair efforts. Prefer experience is some/all of the following: RF/Microwave to include attenuation, AM-FM-PM modulations, power, insertion loss, VSWR, Noise, Adapters, antennas, CDNs, signal generators, EMI receivers. Optical to include lasers, fiber optics, illuminance, radiance, color, color temperature, optical density, night vision. Location: Jacksonville, FL Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering from an accredited college or university. Experience: 10 years of experience and at preferably 5 years of Department of Defense experience. Allowable Substitutions: A Master's Degree plus 5 years of experience.
