Role: Java Full stack Developer (NoSQl and Solr exp)Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite - 5 days a week)We’re looking for a Java Full Stack Developer who brings strong backend engineering depth along with modern front-end development experience to build scalable, enterprise-grade digital solutions. In this role, you will develop and maintain applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, Kafka, and distributed data technologies such as Cassandra or MongoDB, while helping design performant integrations, search capabilities, and data processing workflows across complex ecosystems.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIsDesign, build, and support full stack solutions with strong backend services and responsive front-end interfaces using Angular 8 or aboveCollaborate with UI/UX designers, product teams, and fellow engineers to deliver intuitive, user-centered application experiencesBuild and integrate scalable messaging and event-driven solutions using Kafka, JMS, and related integration frameworksWork with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB to model, store, and retrieve large-scale data efficientlyDesign and optimize queries for Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL data stores based on application and performance requirementsImplement and support enterprise search solutions using Solr and/or OpenSearchContribute to large-scale data engineering and processing use cases leveraging Apache SparkCreate reusable, secure, and high-performing APIs and services for internal and external system integrationsTroubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues across distributed systems and environmentsParticipate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate engineering qualitySupport best practices in software development, including clean code, testing, documentation, and version controlPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutionsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceProven experience as a Java Full Stack Developer in enterprise application environmentsStrong hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, and REST API developmentExperience building front-end applications using Angular 8 or aboveSolid experience with messaging and integration technologies such as Kafka, JMS, and related event-driven patternsHands-on experience with Cassandra or MongoDB or other NoSQL databasesExperience working with Solr and/or OpenSearch for indexing, search, and retrieval use casesWorking knowledge of Apache Spark for distributed data processing and analytics workflowsExperience designing and optimizing queries for Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL databasesStrong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patternsFamiliarity with application performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting in production-grade systemsStrong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teamsExperience with Agile delivery methods and modern software development lifecycle practices preferredExposure to CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing practices is a plusThe base salary for this position is $92,250 to $101,500 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
