Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join client for an on-site opportunity. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced enterprise environment and collaborating closely with architects, QA, DevOps, product teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java.

Develop backend services using Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.

Design and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.

Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code.

Participate in system design and technical architecture discussions.

Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.

Optimize application performance and database queries.

Implement authentication and authorization using technologies such as OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.

Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Work with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments through Kubernetes.

Participate in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 or newer versions.

Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.

Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.

Experience developing REST APIs.

Experience with Hibernate/JPA.

Strong SQL and database knowledge.

Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Good understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.

Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.

Strong debugging and production-support skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with event-driven architecture.

Knowledge of distributed systems.

Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.

Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.

Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech, or other enterprise environments is a plus.
