Job description

Role: Senior iOS Engineer
Location: NYC, NY - Hybrid (3 days onsite)
12 Months Contract
The candidate collaborating directly with the client's iOS team to build and enhance their consumer-facing mobile application. We are looking for an engineer with strong technical depth, problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile experiences in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver new features for a large-scale, consumer-facing iOS application
  • Break down product requirements into clear, actionable engineering tasks
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable Swift code
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners to drive product vision
  • Review code, provide feedback, and support teammates to ensure high engineering quality
  • Identify issues, debug complex problems, and proactively improve application performance
  • Contribute to engineering best practices, tooling, and process improvements within the team

Requirements
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years focused on iOS development
  • Strong expertise in Swift and experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
  • Solid understanding of iOS architectural patterns, ideally MVVM
  • Experience building high-quality, production-ready iOS applications with robust testing practices
  • Ability to work onsite in NYC three days per week with a cross-functional client team
  • Experience collaborating with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive user experiences
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and teamwork, with a willingness to learn and adapt
