As Buyer at Sensient Agricultural Ingredients, you will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring the right materials, equipment, and services are available at the right time. In this role, you will balance day-to-day purchasing needs with longer term planning, helping maintain strong service levels while supporting quality and cost goals. This position is based on site in a professional office environment with periodic exposure to laboratory and manufacturing plant settings.
What you'll do:
  • Secure raw materials, equipment, and services needed to support plant operations
  • Negotiate complex contracts to achieve strong service, quality, and cost outcomes
  • Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements, including managing supplier exceptions and audits
  • Integrate materials planning with sales and operations planning to support efficient procurement activities
  • Coordinate inventory targets and support cash cycle objectives related to raw materials
  • Analyze current processes, recommend improvements, and implement changes
  • Communicate updates on raw material costs and purchasing activities to cross functional teams and leadership

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 USD.
