The Role

The Sr. Supply Planning role will be responsible for coordinating and leading cross-functional reviews when customer fulfillment prioritizations are required.   Able to consume and analyze large, complex data and process to actionable insights for key stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Ability to analyze large complex information and able to create dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights for stakeholders. 
  • Responsible for review of customer orders daily and prioritize the available inventory according to service priorities and communicate decisions and supply constraints to Customer Service, Sales, and key stakeholders.
  • Support S&OP processes by providing priority updates and inventory risk assessments. Analyze order fulfillment performance, backorders, fill rates, and inventory utilization to identify trends and recommend improvements. 
  • Prepare and present analysis at various IBP meetings; explaining financial variances to forecast, plan, budget, as well as other ad-hoc scenario analysis as requested.
  • Support and pricing by partnering with Finance and evaluating the financial impact of changes in costs, labor, and overhead. 
  • Be curious with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and with ambiguity. 
  • Responsible for understanding and utilizing both internal and external data sources to ensure an accurate forecast (i.e. Arkieva, Llamasoft, Nielsen, and IRI).

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, math/statistics, finance/accounting.

  • 5-7 years of experience in a demand planning role preferably in a CPG environment. 1-3 years of experience with S&OP. Background with demand planning software. Prefer experience with partnering with large retail accounts in collaborative demand planning or CPFR. 

  • Knowledge Solid knowledge of overall business planning processes to ensure decisions are based on being able to see the big picture of supporting company goals & objectives. 
  • Skills - Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills both verbal & written, able to effectively use Excel using data from various sources, strong listening skills & comfortable interfacing with customers & sales teams Possesses function and technical skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment, possesses excellent communication skills.
  • Abilities - The ability to show patience in high tension situations, able to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably and the ability to focus on delta. 
  • Supervisory Scope - Reports to Director of Demand Planning; direct reports - NA; Indirect Reports - N/A.
