JOB SUMMARY

Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to lead key accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable, and inventory management. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions related to billing, accounts receivable, and inventory control. A key part of this position involves a leadership role in our upcoming SAP implementation, where you will guide the team through a smooth transition and establish new, efficient procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting processes.
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably JD Edwards, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills, with experience guiding teams in achieving accounting goals.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to senior leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to identifying challenges and implementing solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.

Billing & Accounts Receivable:

  • Oversee daily billing operations, including invoice generation, financial posting, and accounts receivable management.
  • Supervise the month-end close process to ensure all revenue transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase automation and efficiency within the billing cycle.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day inventory process, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the Tech Ops team to optimize inventory control procedures.

SAP Implementation & Special Projects:

  • Lead the team through the SAP implementation, ensuring a smooth conversion and effective adoption of new processes.
  • Support the Senior Director of Finance with strategic planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist in the execution of special projects and initiatives as needed.

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation, explain processes, and resolve audit issues promptly.
